The Travelling Talesman has been hard at work researching another set of enthralling and amusing stories to engage your ears and minds. This spring he will bring you "The Nectar Of The Gods": time honoured tales of mythological brewings, legendary fermentations and deities drinking divine beer.

From Sumeria to Finland our most ancient writings include stories of beer. It puts words in the poet's mouth, it calms the savage breast and in the earliest cities it was considered the very basis of civilized society.

...and yet, whether it’s finding the ingredients, obtaining the vessel to brew it in, or the things they get up to under the influence, the Gods seem to have trouble making it and they cause trouble drinking it.

The Travelling Talesman is a performer of myths legends and folktales with over 20 years professional experience touring the country and performing everywhere from festivals, fairs and fun days to pubs, restaurants, castles and even a river, knee deep!
